Introduction to freezer cover motor
1. Definition and Principles
1. Definition: Shaded Pole Motor is a single-phase AC motor. It is often used in freezers to assist in heat dissipation or drive internal fans. It is a key component to ensure the stable operation of the freezer.
2. Working principle: When the stator winding is connected to AC power, a pulsating magnetic field is generated. Part of the magnetic flux passes through the cover pole winding (short-circuit copper ring or short-circuit winding wound with enameled wire), generating an induced current in the cover pole winding, thereby generating a magnetic flux with a phase difference from the main flux. These two magnetic fluxes interact to form a magnetic field moving towards the stator pole on the stator pole. The moving magnetic field cuts the rotor conductor, causing the rotor to generate an induced current and rotate under force, thereby providing power to the freezer-related components.
